Decent Exposure features 25 nudes, semi-nudes and demi-nudes in what Associate Professor Linda Tyler describes as “a jaunty local riposte to the Body Laid Bare exhibition staged at the Auckland Art Gallery earlier this year.”
Undressing that which the University has on offer, the exhibition showcases masterpieces of its own by leading contemporary New Zealand artists Yuki Kihara, Rohan Weallans, Ioane Ioane and Lisa Reihana, New Zealand’s 2017 Venice Biennale representative.
Accompanying Decent Exposure is a free, full-colour catalogue containing short, lively essays from a diverse range of contributors.
